Abstract

GARCIA PENA, Caridad M et al. Validationof the analytical method for the stability study of clonazepam injection 1 mg/mL. Rev Cubana Farm [online]. 2004, vol.38, n.2, pp.1-1. ISSN 0034-7515.

The analytical method developed by the stability study in the quantification of injectable clonazepam 1 mg/mL was validated by high resolution liquid chromatography with ultraviolet detection at 310 nm. The calibatrion curve was performed in the range from 20.8 to 43.2 mg/mL, which was lineal, with a correlation coefficient equal to 0.99624. The statistical test for the interval and the slope was considered as non significant. It was attained a recovery of 99,6 % in the studied concentration range. Cochran (G) and Student's (t) tests were not important. The variation coefficient in the repeatability study was equal to 0.69 % for 10 tested replicas, whereas Fischer and Student's tests were not significant in the analysis of intermediate precision. The method was considered specific, lineal, accurate and exact.

Keywords : Clonazepam; high resolution liquid chromatography.
