A case of a patient presenting with an immunoproliferative disease of the small bowel, of the alpha heavy chain type is reported with the aim of reporting an infrequent entity which constitutes the second case in Cuba. The disease begin with a history of diarrheal episodes related to Giardia Lamblia infestation and it was diagnosed by jejunal by the oral route. The clinical improvement after therapy using tetracicline in a dose of 1 g and prenidsone 60 mg orally is highlighted. The patient is still asymptomatic after 6 months of observation.
