Abstract

PEREZ RODRIGUEZ, Alexis et al. Lung abscess in the kidney transplant recepient: A case report. Rev cubana med [online]. 2004, vol.43, n.4, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1561-302X.

The case of a 40-year-old patient who underwent a kidney transplantation from a dead donor at the National Institute of Nephrology, in Cuba, and 10 years later was diagnosed a lung abscess, was reported for the first time in Cuba among patients with kidney transplants. The patient responded to the indicated therapeutic measures that included antibiotic therapy, reduction of immunosupression and postural drainage. The evolutive radiological lesions were presented.
