The aim of present study was to know the effect of biomodulin T 1000 in combination with vitamin b(1000) in children presenting with recurrent infections and a significant decrease of thymic area (x=520,38 +/- 187,74 mm) measured by echography. That´s why we studied a total of 104 euphoric children, 51 boys and 53 girls, from 8 months to 6 years old. Antropometric assessment was made and thymic area was measured by echography, before culminate treatment and after it. Biomodulin t 1000 was given to 34 patients with a weekly periodicity, for 16 weeks, and we found a decrease of recurrent infections and a increase of thymic area (x= 907,35 +/- 268,0 mm). Better results were obtained using this drug in study parameters than using levamisol (70 children).
