In this paper, preschool age is particularly approached, since it presents the highest morbidity and mortality during childhood, excluding the first year of life, and it is in this stage that the foundations influencing on health on the long term are laid down.. Comments are made on the normal development during this period, the creation of habits, the causes of diseases and deaths, and the characteristics of medical care. Starting from the spreading of knowledge about this period, emphasis is given to health culture by establishing healthy habits and by prevention.
