LUGONES BOTELL, Miguel; BUENO HIDALGO, María Luz and JAIME ALVAREZ, Aleida. Facial paralysis and preeclampsia. Rev Cubana Obstet Ginecol [online]. 2017, vol.43, n.1, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1561-3062.
Peripheral facial paralysis is a very frequent neurological condition. In most cases, a precise etiology, called idiopathic or facial palsy of Bell, cannot be established. The association of facial palsy and pregnancy is known. It is our objective to present a 27-year-old female patient attending the University Polyclinic "26 de Julio", who had this condition associated with her pregnancy and severe preeclampsia.
Keywords : facial paralysis; preeclampsia; pregnancy.
