A review of all the information obtained from the information sources known in Medicine (Medline, Index Medicus, Cochrane Collaboration and other physcial, electronic and virtual libraries) about the new biochemical and imaging markers, whose prognostic usefulness has been proved in the stratification of the cardiovascular risk in the acute atherosclerotic coronary artery disease, was made by using the methodology systematicness for evaluating scientific evidence. Afterwards, the information collected was critically analyzed according to the recommendations of the guides for the evaluation by levels of the reference literature, making a conscious, reasoned and explicit use of the best evidence available for the decision-making in the care of individual patients with this entity. It was part of the best individual clinical experience obtained in a systematic search.
