Abstract

A technical and professional overview of the work of the non-surgical specialist in the armed struggle settings is presented, and the conception, structure and representativeness of the effector poles of non-surgical medical assistance are given in detail. The main aspects of professional care in these particular moments and circunstamces of the military life are individualized from the technical and professional point of view.The authors expose the concepts of identification of preventable and unforeseen diseases, the intervention/action around the non-surgical patient and the conditions of health deterioration resulting from the aggressive character of the military operation theater and the prolonged military actions.The presence of some groups of non-communicable chronic diseases as risk factors for the exacerbation of affections and traumatims in military conflicts is evaluated.
