This article proposes epistemological elements for reflection among Marxists on Marxism and/or Marxisms within socialism as a proposal for development as opposed to the logic of capital. The relationship between Marxism and socialism contributes to the deepening of the need for social change and how to do it. To this end, it covers four fundamental aspects: Marxism as a paradigm of science, Marxism and the Marxists, Marxism and socialism and Marxism today. The objective is to deepen it as an open, heterogeneous, plural, critical, social, political and economic theory to subvert reality with a scientific method, which is valid today to interpret the forms of social class struggle.
