The article analyzes the militaristic projections and objectives of contemporary U.S. led imperialism. The emergence of nuclear weapons and the conquest of cosmic space in the 20th century, with the ascending technological development of the capitalist system, promoted a growing program of militarization of space. The US ruling elites have used a considerable part of the resources of that nation for the strengthening of military force, which they erected into an irreplaceable tool of power and terror to materialize their foreign policy interests and to strengthen their class objectives on a global scale. It is important that international bodies demand that the nuclear powers respect signed disarmament agreements and move forward in new negotiations leading to the total elimination of nuclear weapons.
