Abstract

RODRIGUEZ MENENDEZ, Mercedes. Teaching to read literature in the new era of technologies and ITCs. Rev. Cubana Edu. Superior [online]. 2015, vol.34, n.2, pp.18-27. ISSN 0257-4314.

For many years, literature's value has been widely regardedas a mean for the spiritual growth of every human being; however, this type of reading is neither common nor paramount for a large number of children and young people at present. There are many factors influencing such situation; this paper deals with only one of them: methods used by some professors regarding reading formation and development. Besides, the present work suggests some activities to be performed by professors towards literary competence.

Keywords : professors; learning strategies; youngsters; reading; literary work.
