Abstract

ROMAN CAO, Eldis  and  MARTINEZ TUERO, Yariel. The semipresence and the in serving class aiming at the independent work direction process. Rev. Cubana Edu. Superior [online]. 2015, vol.34, n.2, pp.34-44. ISSN 0257-4314.

Thus, the semipresence study model provides a great potential, and its effective performance throughout the class is essential. These considerations are regarded as the central goalin this article. However, there are deficiencies necessarily be looked at, particularly in the serving class, which is the main way of organizing teaching in this scenario. The article develops a characterization about semi presence modality of study in different educative contexts. The experiences of Cuban professors are described as to the design and implementation of the in serving class as an organizing way that was experienced in the 70's, and its evolution up to day. Finally, suggestion is made as to assuming the guidance process of the independent work as an structural and functional way of the in serving class, an element which constitutes a strong point for this kind of organizing way in its current state of development.

Keywords : higher education; academic teaching-learning; semi presence modality.
