Abstract

RANGEL DONOSO, Félix Roberto; BATISTA MAINEGRA, Amado  and  LAURENCIO LEYVA, Amauris. Constituent Principles of the Reference or "Must Be" of Ecuadorian Universities.: Keys for its Contrast with Reality. Rev. Cubana Edu. Superior [online]. 2018, vol.37, n.2, pp.165-177. ISSN 0257-4314.

The content and structure of this text emerges as an attempt to answer the following question: what is the "must be" of the Ecuadorian university? This analysis allows those interested to compare and contrast the configuration, management and results of the action, participation and incidence of the university in the context of the Ecuadorian society; but it also makes it possible to evaluate the intentions of public policy, with a view towards the cohesion and consolidation of society and the construction of good living as a good and service for all. The exhibition opens the debate and presents a series of questions about the cultural and political nature of Ecuadorian education.

Keywords : higher education,; law; legal framework; public policy; development.
