Abstract

CARNERO SANCHEZ, Maikel  and  ARZUAGA RAMIREZ, Misleidy. Proactive Conception of Educational Work at Universities. Rev. Cubana Edu. Superior [online]. 2019, vol.38, n.3  Epub Dec 01, 2019. ISSN 0257-4314.

This paper suggests basic activities to be performed at universities according to the educational work in every academic year, which should have a marked preventive-projective nature for students’ comprehensive professional development. For this, the conceptions of the processes of making comprehensive diagnoses and professional life plans at individual, group, and academic-personnel levels are presented. The important role played by students, joint effort, and better use of the dynamics of training processes are considered to be essential for students’ comprehensive professional development to be promoted, satisfying the requirements of the model of a professional. The suggestions are based mainly on the educational model at Cuban universities, and cultural-historical approach developed by Lev Vygotsky and his followers.

Keywords : Comprehensive diagnosis; making professional life plans; academic personnel’s teaching strategy.
