This investigation, quantitative of descriptive cute, was carried out with the aim of identifying the paramedic’s difficulties in entering the labor field. Gender labor field, employment type and wage variables were established. In addition, an online questionnaire was applied to 65 paramedics and the information was processed in the SPSS v.25 statistical package. On the other hand, the descriptive statistics, mean, frequencies and percentages for data analysis were calculated. Among the results obtained the predominance of the female gender in the field of work stands out. In addition, it was noted that there is a diversity of work areas, beyond ambulances: industry, hospitals, civil protection. On the other hand, the level of income of this profession is low. It was concluded that there is a need to promote, from the formation of the paramedic, alternatives to professional development and solutions to limitations.
