Abstract

MOYA, C  and  ALVAREZ, Marta. MALENA Y YAILY, NUEVAS VARIEDADES DE TOMATE DE MESA. cultrop [online]. 2010, vol.31, n.3, pp.00-00. ISSN 0258-5936.

Malena and Yaily are new fresh market tomato cultivars, with determinate bushy growth habit and big-sized fruits. They were released by a breeding program from crossing the Cuban line MP-1 and the commercial variety Campbell-28, coming from USA. These varieties have been validated at the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences (INCA) and different production systems pertaining to Havana, Cienfuegos, Camagüey and Holguín provinces.
