MONTADA DORTA, Domingo; CALDERON MORALES, Ivón; LEYVA SILVA, Maureen  and  FIGUEREDO SANCHEZ, Daisy. Levels of susceptibility of an Aedes aegypti strain from Santiago de Cuba to lambda-cyhalothrin, cypermethrin, and clorpirifos. Rev Cubana Med Trop [online]. 2007, vol.59, n.1, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1561-3054.

The level of susceptibility and/or resistance in larvae and adults of an Aedes aegypti strain (L.) collected in Santiago de Cuba to lambda-cyhalothrin, chlorpyrifos, and cypermethrin. was determined. The results showed that in the larval stage the strain under study was susceptible to lambda-cyhalothrin (RR90 = 2.1) chlorpyirifos (RR90 = 1.3), and cypermethrin ( RR90 = 3.3), whereas in the adult stage, it was moderately resistant to lambda-cyhalothrin (RR90 = 8.6) and cypermethrin (RR90 = 7.2), and susceptible to chlorpyrifos (RR90 = 4.47).
