Abstract

DEL VALLE PEREZ, Lázaro O et al. EFFECT IN VITRO OF VIMANG® ON HUMAN LYMPHOCYTES. Rev Cubana Hematol Inmunol Hemoter [online]. 2003, vol.19, n.2-3, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1561-2996.

VIMANG® is a product from the bark of certain varieties of mango tress (Mangifera indica Lin), devised by the Pharmaceutic Chemistry Center in the City of Havana. The effect in vitro of VIMANG on lymphocytes from 20 blood donors and 20 patients diagnosed with cellular immunodeficiency was studied through the lymphoblastic transformation test with titrated thymidine and the active rosette technique. Statistically significant differences were found under experimental conditions without VIMANG®(25mg/ml) and with VIMANG® dilutions (from1:2 to1:2048) in the blastic transformation test. Likewise, statistically significant difference between lymphocytes without VIMANG® and those cultured with VIMANG® dilution (1:512) were found in both healthy donors and patients in the active rosette test
