Abstract

We conducted a study of a group of patients suffering from various clinical forms of tuberculosis, who had been admitted to the Provincial Clinical Surgical Teaching Hospital "Dr. Gustavo Aldereguía" from July 1995 to June 1996. We analyzed the functions of nurses in taking care of these patients and we underlined those aspects related to the application and evaluation of nursing care process and its impact on the recovery of the studied patients.
