Abstract

A descriptive study is conducted by using qualitative and quantitative research methods aimed at characterizing the family health problems in the community of Jaimanitas, located in Playa municipality, in Havana City. 96 families were selected for the quantitative analysis. The FFSIL Cuban instrument and a questionnarie designed to this end were used. The qualitative study is carried out by using the model of Adjusted Group Judgement that allows to identify, give priority and explain the problems through the participation of 4 groups of oficial actors connected with Family Health. On using these technique it is observed that their results are similar. Divorce, drinking, housing problems and migration are among the commones difficulties affecting the family
