A study was conducted at the the family physician's office 63-1 located in Jaimanitas, Playa municipality, Havana City, aimed at evaluating how climateric women perceive intrafamily violence (IFV). Most of women going through this stage were selected. Qualitative and quantitative technique of investigation were utilized in the study. A questionnarie made to this end and the depressión test were also used. Married women who were housewives and had a primary educational level were found in that population. They were part of extended incomplete families and perceived intrafamily violence (IFV) at home
