A retrospective, observational and analytical study was conducted with a randomized sample of 500 patients within the age group 65 and over included in the first group of the patient's categorization at the primary health care level of the population area attended by "Bernardo Posse" Teaching Polyclinic in San Miguel del Padrón. The health status of the population studied and the preventive and curative measures taken are exposed in this study.
