INTRODUCTION: a key perspective for trigger the acute processes of change experienced by the public health during the past 30 years, has been the community involving for health promotion. OBJECTIVE: a strategy aimed to strengthening of social actors linked to preschool children education in a community of Plaza municipality during the 2009 is presented to promote healthy behaviors in an area that by itself is a significant challenge for the contemporary public health, the sexual one. METHODS: a participatory action-research design was used. RESULTS: a vertebrate action-research strategy was obtained from the strengthening theory achieving the mobilization of knowledges from different lines for its planning, implementation and evaluation.
