Abstract

The pulmonary cystic adenomatous malformation is an uncommon disease. This is the ultrasound prenatal diagnosis of a case which at 22 weeks of pregnancy showed an increase of echogenicity of left lung leading to the suspicion of the presence of this disease. It was assessed with ultrasound by transabdominal route in the corresponding higher levels, corroborate by the diagnosis. After of the genetic advice, couple determined the interruption of pregnancy. Later it was again confirmed according to pathological anatomy, the type III pulmonary cystic adenomatous malformation.
