The increase of scientific knowldege as a result of the scientific and technical development has brought about big problems in education. A way to solve them is comprehensive teaching, based on the principle of concentrating the fundamental aspect of the teaching contents of various disciplines that interrelated to attain an interdisciplinary synthesis with a higher degree of generalization, which provides a more general view of the subject and makes easy the integration of knowkedge. The integrated syllabuses have their origin in the so-called globilizing methods and they are more flexible than the syllabuses structured by independent subjects. Therefore, they have advantages, even though they also have inconveniencies to be applied. Many integrated syllabuses have been developed in medical sciences education in Cuba, which has allowed to accumulate experience in this type of teaching.
