Abstract

DAMIANI CAVERO, Sonia et al. Motivación inicial por la Atención Primaria de Salud en los estudiantes de Medicina. Educ Med Super [online]. 2004, vol.18, n.3, pp.1-1. ISSN 0864-2141.

In order to make the diagnosis and follow-up of the motivation degree for primary health care at 3 moments of the course during the first 2 years of the medical career, as well as to identify the subjects that the students considered motivate them to primary health care, it was applied the modified ladov's test to all freshmen from "Dr. Salvador Allende" Medical Faculty, with an anonimous character. Grades were given according to ladov's logical square. The ladov's Index and the Position Index were calculated for the brigade and the year by using the number obtained. Between 25 and 43 % of the total of students were "more satisfied than unsatisfied". More than 70 % recognized that the subjects that have motivated them were: Society and Health, Introduction to Clinics, Physiology and Anatomy, which were the most mentioned. 3 quantitative values, of brigade and year, are proposed for the operational evolutive follow-up of the topic at different moments of the career, with the possibility of evaluating the influences of the educative work on the motivation to Primary Health Care.

Keywords : Family Medicine; motivation degree; Primary Health Care.
