Abstract

ORTIZ RODRIGUEZ, Felino; GOMEZ ALVAREZ, Ana María  and  ROMAN COLLAZO, Carlos Alberto. Teaching materials for the development of seminars in Human Morphophysiology I. Educ Med Super [online]. 2012, vol.26, n.2, pp.166-173. ISSN 0864-2141.

The inclusion of Human Morphophysiology discipline in the medical studies curriculum demands the improvement of the learning evaluation. A literature review was made on the learning evaluation as well as on the teaching process documents kept in the human morphology department of the Latin American School of Medicine (known as ELAM). Based on this, a handbook called "Teaching materials for the development of evaluative activities in Human Morphopysiology I" was drafted, which is available at http://www.uvs.sld.cu/repositorio/recursos-uvs/ and covers teaching tasks for development of evaluated classes (seminars) in Human Morphopysiology I subject, methodological suggestions to carry out evaluation activities (seminars) in Human Morphopysiology I, and recommendations to improve construction of written questions. Thus, the students can have at their disposal a set of teaching tasks to prepare themselves prior to the evaluated classes, and the faculty avails of three pedagogically substantiated instruments endorsed by eight experts to contribute to the improvement of the Human Morphopysiology I seminars.

Keywords : human morphophysiology; teaching materials; seminar.
