Abstract

ROSELL PUIG, Washington; GUZMAN BATISTA, Iraida  and  DOMINGUEZ LOPEZ, Juan Carlos. Factors influencing the perception of imaging series. Educ Med Super [online]. 2012, vol.26, n.3, pp.419-424. ISSN 0864-2141.

Imaging series are a series of plain visual images frequently used in teaching activities to convey essential information as a sort of backup for the oral presentation of the professor. For achieving optimal results, it is necessary to consider those factors having an effect on their perception. The objective of this paper was to explain the most outstanding factors affecting the perception of plain visual images. Among these factors are those related with the existing conditions (premises), the observer (students), the lecturer (professor) and the images as such (content and composition).

Keywords : pedagogy; teaching aids.
