A study of 74 patients with diagnosis of plantar fascitis with calcaneal spurs or without them was conducted. 10 of the cases were bilateral. They were treated with extracorporeal shock waves. 3 sessions with a frequency of 2000 impulses each one were applied to chronic-stage patients, among whom all the conventional therapies had failed. Satisfactory results were obtained.
