A descriptive and prospective study of 50 eyes (41 patients) with the diagnosis of intermediate uveitis was conducted during 3 years. This pathology was more frequent in women (58 %), in young patients (25-45 years old) and among workers. Among the complications, the cystoid macular edema was the main cause of vision affections. The improvement of visual acuity was more remarkable in patients under medical and surgical treatment (40 %). 50 % of the patients had relapses.
