Abstract

MARTINEZ, María de los A  and  RAMIREZ, Susana. Insects in Morus alba L. and Moringa oleifora Lamark. Rev. Protección Veg. [online]. 2014, vol.29, n.1, pp. 52-56. ISSN 1010-2752.

Four species of defoliating larvae belonging to the order Lepidoptera were observed in plants of Morus alba L. and Moringa oleifora Lamark in Havana province between February and October 2012.The larvae completed their cycles at the laboratory. The species identified were Stigmene acraea (Drury), Glyphodes sybillalis Walker, Maenas jussiaeae (Poey) and Spodoptera latisfacia. These insects are new findings for these bushy plants in Cuba.
