The effect of the strain Vl-01 of the entomopathogenic fungus Lecanicillium lecanii (Zimm.) Zare & W. Gams on mortality of the last two instars of Myzus persicae nicotianae Blackman was evaluated in laboratory trials by using the spraying method. Three concentrations of the fungus and a control treatment were used. The highest mortality in M. persicae was produced between 48 and 72 hours after spraying with the fungal concentration of 1x10⁹conidia.ml^-1. Sporulation in the moist chamber occurred between two and three days of fungal growth.
