Abstract

DE LA CRUZ SANTOS, Ileana Dayamina  and  MARTI LAHERA, Yohannis. Some experiences on the projection of the informational literacy campaign in a Cuban institution. ACIMED [online]. 2005, vol.13, n.3, pp. 1-1. ISSN 1024-9435.

The concepts of technological literacy and informational literacy, as well as their interrelations are dealt with. The attributes allowing to identify a literate in information technologies are shown and the intellectual capacities and skills demanded by the use of the information technologies became operational by means of the fundamental concepts. The techniques, instruments, and methods used to develop the informational literacy projection for a specific institution are explained. The results of the diagnosis of the informational literacy level attained by the users are presented. Finally, the correlation that should exist among the norms, the indicators and the results, once the different stages of the literacy process are concluded, is given.
