Each day, the analysis of speech is used more frequently in different specialties of the social sciences.  A meeting point connecting the analysis of the speech and the phenomenon of the organization and representation of the information-knowledge is proposed; their narrow relation with the ontologies and the Web semantics, that have their origin in the thesauri and in other forms of representation, as new formulae to identify and relate notions that vary between discursive and analytic domains.  Finally, the study of a case is used as illustration of how to utilize speech analysis to obtain implicit information that provides terms for the ontology´ construction.
