An opened controlled non- secuencial clinical trial of early stage II was carried out at "Octavio de La concepcion", Hospital in Camagüey city. The study incluided 90 patients from the outpatient department who had been diagnosed as having acute sacrolumbar pain in the period from May to agugust 1997. The efficacy of the hand microsystem as treatment of choice for the management of the above-mentioned condition. The effectiveness of this procedure became evident on the fifth day. The majority of patients (98,89%) were asymptomatic by the end of the course of treatment. This kind of treatment. This kind of treatment proved cost-effective and benefitial when compared to acupuncture and medical treatment. It also lasted less thus shortening the period of recovery. No complicaions were reported.
