GUTIERREZ MARTORELL, Sarah et al. Antibacterian Action of Hydroalcoholic Tinture of 4% Propolis in Germs of Endodontic Orige. AMC [online]. 1999, vol.3, n.4, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1025-0255.
So as to determine the in vitro effect of the hydrocoholic solution of 4% propolis as antiseptic a work was performed with a study and control group united in the Conservatrix Service. And Microbiology Lab of the Stomatology Faculty of the medical School of Camagüey. The study universe consisted of 200 bacteriologic radicular controls wich gave 77 smears of different microorganisms, these were faced "in vitro" to measure their effectiveness to different solutions through the double agar covering technique. Also 70% alcohol, 10% sodic chloranfenicol and water as positive and negative controls, were proved. The hypothesis wich states that microrganisms were sensitive to the essayed formula, was enacted. The result of the other agents was the same we were waitong for. Technique was measured according to the criteria of sensibility and resistance, toking into account criteria of sensitive in halos greater than or equal to 13mm and resistant to those among 12 and 12, 9mm. The studies reveales sensibility to hydroalcoholic solution of 4% propolis in a 62% of the streptococcus viridan, 85% streptococcus aureous, 85% of Lactobacilus S/P.
