Abstract

A cross-sectional, descriptive study was performed in 31 patients diagnosed and treated for cupula fracture assisted in a basic group of work belonging to "Manuel Ascunce Domenech"provincial Hospital in the year 1997. Femenine sex ha the higher incidence. Fracture type II according to Mason's classification prevailed in 36% of cases. Left elbow was the most affected in 62% of cases. The way of treatment behaved in correspondence with the type of fracture and its surgical criterio, 16% of cases presented complications. Results were excellent in 64%, good in 32% and regular in 4% of cases according to An and Morrey's scale.
