Abstract

A descriptive study is performed taking as study universe 108 woman, ramdomly selected among ages de 30-60 years from healt clinic # 30 of the Family Physician Plan, West Polyclinic of Camagüey during January 2000 with the aim of knowing the information level of patients about risk factors of breats cancer. It was proved that women have a wide knowlegde of: importance of breast self- examination, of mamography, and behavior to follow with a breast node, but they have no knowledge of risk factors such as age of menarche, menopause, maternal breats feeding family history of breats cancer.
