Through a descriptive study, the quality of research results of clinical laboratory was evaluated in 1997, by the adaptation of the Provincial Program for External Evaluation from primary level to secundary, monthy, controllers for both levels of care were prepared acording to the described procedure is such program (a serum control frasc, cyanomethahemoglobin solution frasc, absobance and caliber solution frasc, one with hemolyzed abd plate with blood extension). Results were processed and assessed departing from de the SECAL computed program . Quality criterium was established as to N or PIV intervals. Results indicate that the anual quality of diagnostic detrminations was the acceptable (163). The year 1997 surpassed 1996, although it kept in the some evolution rank (P=0, 1758) and it was shown that among both care levels, quality behave equally (P=0, 361).
