A controlled, open phase II clinical essay was carried out in children of nine years old, of booth sexes, belonging to Granma school during 1997-1998 course, with the aim of comparing the effectivenes of myotherapeutic methods for eliminating fingersuking habit. For this 30 fingersuckers were selected randomly in a stratified way according to EPIDAT program package. This sample was divided into 15 children for the study group, to which myotherapy was colectively applied (group dynamies) and the remaining children with the control one, they were performed this therapeutic individually. Both treatments were evaluated after sex months and a year after the application, and better results were obtained with myotheapy throug group dynamics.
