In a descriptive study, an analysis of health situation carried out in 6ta in habitants, belonging to health clinic No. 22 of the center area in Camagüey city during 1999. Results obtained reflected that these are biologic and environmental risk , asa well as habits upon which an adequate control was not performed. The ceod index was 0.72 and CPOD 14,2. There was prevalence of groups III (sick) and IV (sick with sequelae) and increasing of morbidity due to dental diseases which decreased, therefore the oral health state was unfavorable. From this analysis on, problems were indentified and an intervention plan would be instituted.
