Abstract

Clinical phase II open easy was carried out " La Vigía " Teaching Odontology Clinic from January 2000 to July 2001 with the aim of evaluating the effectiveness of aloe gangle in the treatment of subprosthetic stomatitis. The sample was composed of 30 patients older than years of both sexes (10 in each clinical stage of lession). For this selection diagnostic criteria, inclusion and exclusion were takes into account. For the treatment of subprosthetic stomatitis, an aloe gargle prepared at the Production Lab of Drugs in Camagüey was used which was applied by the patient there times a day. Those who eliminated signs and symptoms were considered cured. Concluding, patients in stage I and needed II less time for curing than those in III. No adverse effects presented during the investigation.
