Abstract

A descriptive and cross-sectional study was carried out with the aim of evaluating the use of the hologram of the German teeth microsystem in the affections of the osteomyoarticular system (OMAS).The study universe was composed of patients remitted by the orthopedic service to the Natural and Traditional Medicine Department with the diagnosis of some affections of OMAS from " Rodolfo Ramirez Esquivel" Communitary Polyclinic, where the work was performed with a sample of 100 patients who accomplished inclusion and exclusion criterio, the study was performed from June to December, 2002. The information was processed in a compatible IBM through the statistic Microstad SPSS system for windows. Descriptive statistic frequency distribution and contingency table were applied. In this study group, patients from 55 to 60 years old, feminine prevailed and OMAS affection more frequent were sacrolumbalgia and cervicobrachyalgias, the most affected meridians were goll bladder, liver and kidney -bladder; patients had great quantity of teeth related with such meridians. Periodontopathy was the oral disease that prevailed, so we may conclude that the hologram of the German teeth microsystem (Vol an Foci) was useful in this study.
