After six months of their establishment, an analysis of how each of them functions and the information they offered about the performance of evaluated methods of essay was carried out. With the results it was concluded that the utilization of these procedures allows the detection of disagreements and eventhough not all contributed to the identification of causes, as in the case of interlaboratory controls; the integration of all information given by them constitutes a useful tool for the analysis of causes: key part in the procedure of preventive or corrective action.
