A descriptive study was conducted to describe sexuality among the aged from the community being cared for by the C.J. Finlay Clinic, province of Camagüey, from June 2002 to April 2003. Of 90 elders aged 60 and more from the local Grandparents Club who were polled, those aged 60-64 prevailed. Although 68, 9 % described sexual pleasure as something natural; less interest in lovemaking became evident for only 66 % were sexually active even without family approval. Lack of privacy was the chief impediment to relaxed sexual gratification
