SUAREZ SORI, Boris et al. A general pathology site for medical and dental students: a preliminary validation. AMC [online]. 2005, vol.9, n.4, pp. 125-135. ISSN 1025-0255.

An analytical study was conducted in the academic year 2004 -2005 to validate a web site in general pathology intended for medical and dentistry students of the Carlos Juan Finlay School Medicine. The site, designed by the syllabus to conform to the training objectives, was structured into a seven-topic source that provides examples of processes of both general and specific entities that are of interest to students on account of their frequency and relevance. Not only does the site highlight 120 photos (either macroscopic or microscopic) expected to enliven learning and enhance understanding, but also offer a glossary of most common pathology-related terms, a self -assessment section, and self-help section . Most of the site’s parameters and variables were graded as good or excellent, with the exception of font (graded as below acceptable).
