This paper reports on two cases of necrotizing fascitis who were dismissed alive. Patients were aged 12 and 13 months respectively. Pediatric morbility as caused by this disease is low, but the intensive care ward, early diagnosis aggressive surgery, and polymicrobial antibiotic therapy allow for better results. The paper comments the value of oxygenating therapy as a supporting treatment.
