The result of the treatment was clinically assessed according to the established parameters in the utilized scale. The effectiveness of the acupuncture technique was determined by the predominance of the satisfactory responses to this procedure that had the major value in the smoothed radicular. Complications were identified, but were minimal; bleeding in the site of puncture was the most frequent one.
