It affected first the inferior limbs in the majority of the patients. Its progress showed the same results in 18 cases, each one was had inferior and superior limbs affected. Bilateral paralysis was established in motor functions failure. Symmetry of the inferior limbs affected 18 patients. In the cytochemical study of the cerebrospinal fluid, glucose was normal and there were high levels of proteins in most cases. The most used therapeutic option was immunotherapy with vitamins.
