Abstract

FALAGAN ANDINA, Cesar et al. Intestinal lymphomatous polyposis. MEDISAN [online]. 2009, vol.13, n.4, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1029-3019.

The clinical case of a 55 year-old white patient is reported, who went to the outpatient department of Gastroenterology because of diarrheas for around a year, diffuse abdominal pain, loss of weight, asthenia and anorexia. Through oral panendoscopy multiple polyps up to 4 cm diameter could be observed, and with the colonoscopy polypoid formations were found all along the colon. Tissue examinations revealed a multiple lymphomatous polyposis of the gastrointestinal tract, which partially improved its symptoms and signs by receiving chemotherapy sessions.
